The Client: The Downtown Sacramento Partnership (DSP) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of Sacramento's central business district. The DSP oversees maintenance, safety and revitalization programs financed by the Downtown Sacramento Management District, a property assessment district established in 1995 and renewed in 2000.
The Project: The Downtown Sacramento Partnership was in a position to oversee a proposed downtown Sacramento sports arena. The proposed sports arena was a project to revitalize the Sacramento downtown area. DSP hired First Source Consulting to design a new website based on their existing design, so it would be a smooth transition for the site visitor when moving from the DSP web site to the Renew K Street website. In addition, First Source Consulting provided hosting services for the web site. The design, development, and quality assurance was completed in fifteen days. The proposed sports arena was eventually voted down by the city council.
