The Client: The Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery is an outpatient facility for the treatment of dermatologic disorders, founded by nationally recognized dermatologist and laser surgeon Emil A. Tanghetti.
The Project: In an effort to gain efficiencies and increase profits, the center upgraded their medical practice software to NexTech Practice 2004 software, a practice management and marketing software with comprehensive graphical scheduling and billing, prospect tracking, patient tracking, and electronic medical record modules. The client's infrastructure needed to be updated in preparation for the new practice management software. First Source Consulting provided equipment procurement services, network optimization, installation and configuration of the servers and work stations for NexTech software. The network consists of two Windows 2000/2003 servers; five tablet PC's and fourteen work stations. First Source Consulting also provides the Center with monthly maintenance and support services through a monthly retainer.
