The Client: NCSRA is a medical office specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, and spine surgery. The office serves the great Sacramento area with five doctors and a staff of twenty three.
The Project: NCSRA came to First Source Consulting because their current IT support services were not inclusive of all their requirements, leaving NCSRA to manage the day to day business without the benefit of reliable work stations. First Source Consulting provided immediate desk top support at a lower cost. In addition, First Source Consulting provided an assessment of NCSRA technology requirements. First Source Consulting developed and implemented a plan to lower the IT expenditures at NCSRA. First Source Consulting implemented desk top standardization and policies, which has reduced the number of viruses and performance issues. In addition, First Source Consulting has replaced several individual DSL and dial-up lines with one low cost T-1, Cisco router, and Cisco PIX firewall. First Source Consulting continues to serve NCSRA through a monthly retainer, providing PC support, Network Support, Project Management and Training services.
