The Client: DCA Capital Partners, LP is a private equity fund formed with the purpose of providing expansion capital to growth-oriented, middle-market businesses in underserved markets across the broader Northern and Central California region, as well as certain adjacent markets in Nevada, Arizona and Oregon. In conjunction with its institutional investor partners, the Fund provides promising later-stage companies, typically in the range of $5-100 million in revenues, with the additional capital and expertise needed to successfully expand and extend their businesses.
The Project: DCA Capital Partners moved their operations to a new location in Roseville, California. The new office has eleven offices, fifteen workstations, two conference/meeting rooms, and reception area. DCA Capital Partners occupies a portion of the space and sub-lease the remaining to five businesses.
First Source Consulting provided procurement services, network installation, server and work station installation and configuration. First Source Consulting met business objectives with the implementation of a Cisco Router, IPCOP Firewall, IPSEC VPN, Microsoft 2003 Small Business Edition server, Dell Switches, and Microsoft XP SP 2 on each personal computer. Microsoft Active Directory group policies were established to secure access to file shares, individual files, printers, and remote access. First Source Consulting also provides DCA Capital Partners with monthly maintenance and support services through a monthly retainer.
