The Client: Laughton Properties, Inc., located in Sacramento, California, is a full service property management company that currently manages over 1500 properties.
The Project: Laughton Properties is using property management software for bookkeeping. The software lacks the customized reports needed by Laughton. Therefore, a Microsoft Access Database was created to pull data from their core software/database and a custom report generated (Rent Roll Report). The Rent Roll Report was created by another vendor and not working properly. First Source Consulting resolved ten issues, added functionality, documented the application code, performed quality assurance testing, and coordinated user acceptance testing. The results of these additions and modifications have been productivity gains for Laughton Properties during their month end processing.
